From 1958 to 1964, dino's lodge, then owned by dean martin, was used as a location for the tv series 77 sunset strip. Martin opened the restaurant aronud the time of his split with jerry lewis, and it became a choice watering hole for rat pack members frank sinatra, sammy davis, jr, and peter lawford. The handsome tudor-style building was razed ni 1989.
